We kicked things off back in 2015 in Halifax’s historic North End, and ever since, we’ve been obsessed with two things: making great drinks and creating spaces where folks actually want to hang out. Whether you’re here for a pint, a laugh, a trivia night, or just to sit in the sun with a friend (and a dog), you’re in the right place.
At our core, Robie Street is a pub-style taproom, brewery, bar, beer garden, and hangout spot — but that description barely scratches the surface. Our flagship Robie Street Taproom is a beloved local hub with a dog-friendly patio, live music and comedy in The MouseTrap, and rotating taps featuring classic favourites alongside bold seasonal twists. We even accept private rentals here, so you can party your way.
We’re proud to have also expanded beyond Robie Street with three more lively spots:
- A beer garden and shop on the Halifax Commons
- The Elmsdale Beer Store & Beer Garden
- Our production headquarters just outside the city in Elmsdale

We believe beer should have a story — honest, sometimes eccentric, always delicious. Many of our beers are low-gluten or gluten-reduced, designed to be enjoyed without fuss.

We host events, support local causes, and welcome everyone who walks through our doors. Good vibes aren’t optional here — they’re part of the operation.
Oh — and we’ve been voted Halifax’s best craft brewery multiple times (six, to be exact) by the Coast Readers’ Choice Awards. But honestly? That’s just a nice bonus.
